Dear Ruth [Laurel],
Thanks for Telegram. Didn't know you had gone away again - you sure do travel - you're lucky - I have to stay in this lousey town. Would like to see you when you get back and have a long talk with you and try to explain to you the things you do that cause these mixups every time. Don't think for a minute I'm happy by any means & life's too short to go on with it. However I'll get away from it all one of these days even with all the obstacles I have trying to prevent me, & you could certainly help me if you would try to 'Right' me instead of 'Fight' me.
