Dear George,
Thanks your inquiry regarding our age - please don't tell anyone - we were both born at a very early age.
Best wishes always.

Dear Ernie [Murphy]-
Thanks yours 11th.inst. with enclosure of news clipping.
Sure was nice to see you again - you certainly looked good - the picture of health, didn't expect it after that awful smash up.
Lois was delighted that you visited with her & saw the kids, she too thought you looked wonderful.
All here as usual - so not much to tell you. Hope to see you again on your return. Imagine there is lots of excitement up there in the Convention dept. must be pretty crowded. Mark Germaine has been in to see me a couple of times (on his two week vacation here) he looks good, but a bit bent up as usual.
Eda joins in love & best -
As ever -

Dear James Wiseman:-
Thanks your letter with news clipping re L&H in the "Our Yesterdays" Column of the Baltimore "Evening Sun" the 15th inst.issue. I noted a couple of minor statements that were not correct, the team was formed 1927, not '29. Our first feature was a background parody on an M.G.M. picture "The Big House," & was originally made by us as a two reel short, we previewed it in about 3-1/2 reel length with intention or cutting it down to 2 reels, it turned out such a success in that length that Roach decided not to cut it down, but to add more footage & release it as a feature length. The 2 reel title was "The Rap" then was changed to "Pardon Us". However, I always felt that the added footage was a mistake & should never have been done.
Pleased to hear your Fan Club is coining along OK. Mr Hardy's address is 5429,Woodrnan Ave. Van Nuys. Calif.
Regards & best wishes to self & club members,
Sincerely always:-
Stan Laurel.
